The problems of accommondation of Afyon Kocatepe University were almost completely solved by private students hostels and hostels belonging to state credit and Hostels instituations. In Afyonkarahisar, There is a hostel, belonging to state. Credit and hostels institutions, with the capacity of 870 girls and 1080 boys, the total capacity is 1950 students.

In the students' hostel, there are rooms for 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 persons and a restaurant, cafe as well as a theatre, billiards and internet rooms with table tennis and chess corners which the students can play to spend time well.

Now the student hostel has six blocks but other blocks will be put into service and it will be totally ten bolcks and rooms will be for ten persons with bunk beds if the other bolcks are opened in 2004-2005.
